Dec. 22, 9:01 a.m.
A car on Bermuda Court was reported to have been burglarized during the night. Raquetball equipment was stolen.
Dec. 22, 3:25 p.m.
An officer stopped a car that had run a red light near Fremont and Kegle. The 34-year old Sacramento man driving it appeared to be drunk. The man, a parolee, was detained.
Dec. 22, 9:38 p.m.
A Garnet Street woman said she had ongoing problems with vandals. Her son just got into a vehicle to chase suspects who had just thrown something at the house. Extra police patrols were requested.
Dec. 22, 10:41 p.m.
A car parked on Chinook Road was burglarized during the night. The front window was pried open. Nothing was immediately recognized as missing.
Dec. 23, 10:01 a.m.
A Shore Street business told police an employee was being detained for stealing cell phones. The employee was “cooperative.”
Dec. 23, 1:47 p.m.
A Ford Focus was reported to have been rolled off the road at Riverbank and North Hobson, and abandoned. It was determined to have been stolen from a Hickory Street resident.
Dec. 23, 5:27 p.m.
Six subjects – at least one with a gun – robbed a victim at an Alameda Blvd. business. The suspects’ car was last seen fleeing southbound on Jefferson Boulevard.
Dec. 23, 6:13 p.m.
A witness called police after seeing a hysterical, naked woman in the parking lot of a West Capitol Avenue adult motel, screaming for help. She reported that a 26-year old Sacramento man had held her down inside the motel, sexually assaulting her and attempting to rape her. Officers contacted the suspect, who gave them a fake ID card. The man was arrested.
Dec. 23, 4:10 p.m.
An officer contacted a 43-year old Citrus Street woman on West Capitol Avenue, while working on a case. The woman was asked if she had any weapons or contraband. She removed a glass narcotics pipe from between her breasts.
Dec. 24, 12:06 a.m.
A Lilac Lane home was reported to have been burglarized sometime during the day.
Dec. 24, 10:18 a.m.
A Maryland Avenue residence reported that the lawn had been vandalized during the night, and an 18-year old female suspect threatened further vandalism to the home.
Dec. 24, 4:38 p.m.
Police received a report that a green Honda Civic had been in the parking lot of a motel on the 1800 block of West Capitol Avenue for several days, and its doors were open. The car was determined to have been stolen, and was recovered.
Dec. 24, 6:10 p.m.
A 42-year old Madrone Avenue man argued with his wife. She said that after he had been drinking, he threatened her, and when she tried to call 911, he took the cell phone. The man was arrested.
Dec. 24, 6:26 p.m.
A man called from near the Linden Road/Jefferson Boulevard intersection, telling police that a 2003 H2 “Hummer” had just backed into his Acura Integra.
Dec. 25, 6:08 a.m.
A burglary was reported to an Evergreen Avenue residence. “Lots” was missing.
Dec. 25, 7:05 a.m.
A collision was reported between two Chevrolet ¾ ton pickups on Princeton Road. One vehicle was still blocking the road. Reportedly, a driver fell asleep at the wheel and hit a parked vehicle. He suffered an injury to his nose but declined medical attention.
Dec. 25, 3:06 p.m.
The rear license plate was reported stolen from a car on Evergreen Avenue.
Dec. 25, 4:32 p.m.
A Sacramento Avenue mobile home park resident reported that a five year old child may have been molested by a seven-year old boy.
Dec. 25, 9:21 p.m.
A man at a West Capitol Avenue motel told police he wanted to turn himself in. He was “off his meds” and his girlfriend was threatening suicide. The man was taken into custody.
