POLICE LOG: Nov. 21, 2007

copyright News-Ledger, 2007

Editor's note: The News-Ledger publishes a weekly log of items taken from arrest reports and incident reports on file at the West Sacramento Police Department. The published items are a sampling of the prior week's police activity.  Since the information in these items has not been confirmed by investigation or criminal trial, and because of privacy concerns attached to some police calls, the exact names and addresses are not included here.

The West Sacramento Police Department, before this year, had a policy of restricting public access to these records. After months of effort and finally a California Public Records Act challenge, the News-Ledger was recently successful in getting the department to change its policy and comply with California public records law.
